Do I need a doctor’s referral to visit a physiotherapist?
No. You can book an assessment directly with Physiotrix without a referral. If your condition needs medical investigation, our physiotherapists will guide you to the right specialist.
What conditions does Physiotrix treat?
We treat back and neck pain, slipped disc, sciatica, frozen shoulder, arthritis, sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and neurological conditions such as stroke and paralysis, among many others.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
It depends on your condition and goals. Many patients feel noticeable relief within 3–6 sessions, while post-surgical or neurological recovery may need a longer, structured program. You’ll get a clear estimate after your first assessment.
Does Physiotrix offer home-care physiotherapy?
Yes. Our Behala team covers Behala, Thakurpukur, Joka, Sarsuna and New Alipore; our Ballygunge team covers Ballygunge, Gariahat, Park Circus, Bhowanipore and Alipore. Home visits suit patients who are bed-ridden, post-operative or unable to travel.
What are your clinic timings?
Our Behala clinic is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Our Ballygunge clinic is open Monday to Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Appointments are recommended to minimise waiting time.
